Text des Grußwortes (Englisch):

„Dear friends, greetings from Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. Greetings to your Easter march in Munster. Our hearts and souls, the hearts and souls of
Ukrainian pacifists, are with you. Great Ukrainian philosopher Hryhorii
Skovoroda, author of the Alphabet of Peace, wrote: „How desperately want
peace the countries burdened with war! The ignorance understand true values
only when they are lost: she suffers getting them, don’t enjoy when have
them, tend to be tormented losing them as if they became valuable only when
fell out of hand.“ Skovoroda taught that people must live in peace
respecting commandments of love. Your Easter march is exactly about that.
Our world is polarized, intoxicated by lies, hatred, and weapons. But this
madness will not last long, whatever war profiteers and militant leaders
may say. People may be foolish enough to be bored by peace, to allow this
grand theft of peace, but they will be sobered by pains of war, such as
bloodshed and death, destruction and decline of welfare, and peace
movements will wake up popular conscience. Let’s refuse to kill. Let’s
cherish and preserve love in our hearts for better future. Let’s stop all
wars in the world by truth and love. Happy Easter, I wish you joy and
peace.“

Yurii würde so gerne persönlich an unserem Ostermarsch teilnehmen. Leider
wird dem Doktoranden der Universität Münster das internationale
Menschenrecht auf die Kriegsdienstverweigerung versagt, weil er ein Mann
zwischen 18 und 60 Jahre alt ist.
